SHOW LOVE ("we", "us") runs giveaways for our community. This policy explains what information we collect when you enter a giveaway on tryshowlove.ng, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose.
Who we are

What we collect
- Entry details you give us: your name, phone number, and email address.
- Device and browser information: technical information about the device and browser you enter from. This includes your user-agent and browser version, operating system and device model, screen and window size, language and time zone, installed fonts, graphics/audio rendering characteristics, network connection details, and similar technical signals. Some of this is combined into a device/browser fingerprint that helps us recognise the same device.
- How you entered: the verification and interaction data produced while you complete the entry (for example hold/drag timing and pointer movement), used to confirm a real person completed the entry.
- Network and log data: your IP address and standard server logs, including the network/TLS characteristics of the connection to our server.
Why we collect it
- To run the giveaway and record your entry.
- To contact you if you win, and to deliver a prize.
- To verify entries and prevent fraud, duplicate entries, and automated or fake entries — so real people win.
- To measure and improve the giveaway and our promotions.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Our basis for processing
We rely on your consent, which you give when you tick the consent box on the entry form. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though that may mean we cannot keep your entry in the giveaway.
Cookies and measurement
Our pages may load measurement tools (for example Meta and TikTok pixels) that set cookies or similar identifiers to measure how our promotions perform. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host our site, store our data, and deliver prizes or notifications, acting on our instructions.
- Measurement partners (such as Meta and TikTok) for promotion performance.
- Publicly, for proof: we may publish a winner's first name and a payment or receipt screenshot as proof a prize was delivered. We never publish your full phone number, email, or address.
- Where required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We keep entry and prize-delivery records for as long as needed to run the giveaway, meet legal/accounting requirements, and prevent repeat fraud. We delete or anonymise records that are no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw your consent, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond as required by applicable law.
Children
Our giveaways are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as our giveaways evolve. The "last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
